SOLARIZE’s Second Training for Industry:
‘Solar Concentrating Systems and Applications’
Are you working in Solar Thermal Energy engineering, or industrial innovation? This opportunity is for you.
The European project SOLARIZE – Bringing EU-SOLARIS ERIC to its Zenith is pleased to launch it for professionals, researchers, and company representatives interested in Concentrated Solar Thermal systems and their performance, delivered by PROMES CNRS.
Delivered in person at PROMES-CNRS facilities, in Font Romeu-Odeillo, France. 7–9 July 2026.
SOLARIZE’s Mobility Programme
This mobility program is part of the SOLARIZE project, which aims to strengthen global collaboration by the use of research infrastructures for specific work themes.
These training events leverage the mobility of early-stage researchers among SOLARIZE Consortium members for one-on-one research mentoring over a period of up to 12 weeks. Students will carry the knowledge and experiences gained with them after graduation, while this mobility will enhance scientific excellence, collaboration, and synergies among SOLARIZE’s partners.

SOLARIZE’s National Event in Türkiye
The workshop “Solar Thermal Technologies for a Sustainable Turkiye: Green Thermal Energy Solutions” took place in Ankara, on past 12 February.
The event was organized by Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, ODTÜ-GÜNAM and EU-SOLARIS ERIC within the framework of the SOLARIZE Horizon Europe Project, providing a valuable platform to discuss the decarbonization of industrial process heat, the advancement of domestic solar thermal technologies, and Türkiye’s integration into the European Research Area.

SOLARIZE’s National Event in Greece
SOLARIZE’s National Event in Greece took place in Athens (Greece) on past 19 February.
The event was aimed to discover the role of EU-SOLARIS ERIC in strengthening Concentrating Solar Thermal (CST) research and innovation at the European level. The event also highlighted Greece’s full membership in the organization and foster dialogue on strategic priorities, research collaboration, and long-term integration into the European CST research infrastructure.
It was jointly organized by:
– Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) and
– Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES)

EU-SOLARIS ERIC’s Access Pilot Programme
The EU-SOLARIS ERIC Access Pilot Programme provides users with the opportunity to obtain free access to our research infrastructure and the services it offers. Through this programme researchers, industry and other potential users can benefit from a range of resources, including facilities, technical services, equipment, data, expertise, and other forms of support available within the infrastructure.

Access through RISEnergy Project
The EC-funded RISEnergy project offers industrial and academic researchers easy, seamless, and free-of-charge access to a selection of the best scientific infrastructures and services related to renewable energy technologies in Europe.
