Next SOLARIZE’s Doctoral Colloquium and Summer School
The next Doctoral Colloquium and Summer School events will take place back-to-back in Cyprus, next 19-23 October.

SOLARIZE’s Mobility Programme
This mobility program is part of the SOLARIZE project, which aims to strengthen global collaboration by the use of research infrastructures for specific work themes.
These training events leverage the mobility of early-stage researchers among SOLARIZE Consortium members for one-on-one research mentoring over a period of up to 12 weeks. Students will carry the knowledge and experiences gained with them after graduation, while this mobility will enhance scientific excellence, collaboration, and synergies among SOLARIZE’s partners.
SOLARIZE’s Workshop on Financial Management
of Horizon Europe projects
The workshop “Financial Management” will take place online, next November, 3. The workshop is delivered by The Cyprus Institute.
The three-hour workshop provides practical guidance on Horizon Europe financial rules, covering cost eligibility, budgeting, personnel costs, reporting and audit preparedness to support compliant and effective project financial management.

EU-SOLARIS ERIC & SOLARIZE on display at SolarPACES Conference
SolarPACES, the most important annual conference on Concentrating Solar Thermal (CST) technology, will take place in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, Germany, from 15 to 18 September.
EU-SOLARIS ERIC and the SOLARIZE project will be present with a booth as a Silver Sponsor, showcasing dissemination materials from the project’s partners.

EU-SOLARIS ERIC’s Access Pilot Programme
The EU-SOLARIS ERIC Access Pilot Programme provides users with the opportunity to obtain free access to our research infrastructure and the services it offers. Through this programme researchers, industry and other potential users can benefit from a range of resources, including facilities, technical services, equipment, data, expertise, and other forms of support available within the infrastructure.

Access through RISEnergy Project
The EC-funded RISEnergy project offers industrial and academic researchers easy, seamless, and free-of-charge access to a selection of the best scientific infrastructures and services related to renewable energy technologies in Europe.
The fifth call for applications is about to open in September.

Portugal to hold its National Event in Porto, on 19th November
We are thrilled to announce that, led by the University of Évora, Portugal will host a National Event to promote the EU-SOLARIS concept within the Portuguese scientific community, with the aim of expanding the membership of the National Node.
The event will take place back-to-back with the EU-SOLARIS General Assembly meeting, scheduled for 17–18 November, in Porto.
