About this facility
The pilot plant consists of membrane modules connected as three flexible units: forward osmosis, reverse osmosis/nanofiltration and microfiltration. The feed water passes through membranes that separate ions. The units may be interconnected in series or parallel for pretreatment, combined membrane separation or pressure-retarded osmosis operation. The installation is monitored with pressure, conductivity and flow sensors.
