About this facility

Pilot-scale photoreactor devoted to simultaneous production of solar hydrogen and wastewater treatment. The pilot plant uses a stainless-steel tank with gas and liquid inlets and outlets, a sampling port and controlled nitrogen gas flow into the reactor headspace. A centrifugal pump recirculates the aqueous slurry through the CPC photoreactor. Hydrogen production is investigated by varying catalyst loading and analysed using gas micro-chromatography.
